Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the best possible before theflop hand inhold’em Poker. But regardless a great many competitors end up on the losing end when given these cards.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just do not drop out before theflop. You’re positioned with the best possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Bear in mind, you are trying to acquire as much profit out of this strong position. You need to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will merely scare most competitors into folding without placing a bet.
If you are in the starting spot (first or 2nd to place a wager), you will lay a single wager. Anybody with a decent hand will call, with luck someone may raise. If someone has made a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your strategy will be to get rid of anybody that could get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are fortunate you’ll fool one player into thinking that you’re faking it.
If you are in the center or later position (near the last to wager) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to fold following the flop. If you don’t get rid of your opponents you chance losing your hand.
