Web poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier announcing "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players are given five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus a sum on par with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pony’s up chips even with your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
