Online poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers acquire five cards each. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the house. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus a sum equal to the initial wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The bank pays out chips equal to your ante and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
