Online poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is akin to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the house. After the bet comes the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a sum on par with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money equal to your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
